Hey! It’s Laura May.

I’m a local Carlsbadian, just like most of you. Even though I grew up here, I’ll be honest,  I didn’t always appreciate this town the way I do now. As I’ve gotten older, Carlsbad has a way of growing on you. Somewhere along the way, I realized I connected deeply with that idea from Robots, “see a need, fill a need.” So that’s exactly what I did.

I started offering photography through Whaley Great Image, which quickly became something I truly love. I’ve always been creative, but never felt like a traditional artist. Photography gave me the perfect space to be both creative and technical at the same time. From there, things naturally grew into full-scale marketing services. Today I help businesses with everything from print design and banners to content creation, social media advertising, billboards, radio, newspaper ads — and just about anything in between.

One thing about me: I don’t give up. If I don’t know how to do something yet, I learn it. That mindset keeps me growing and ultimately helps my clients grow, too. As Lewis says in Meet the Robinsons, I hear “keep moving forward” in the back of my mind every day.

At the heart of it all, I love serving people. I’m grateful to have built a career where I get to make others happy, support local businesses, and help ideas turn into something real.
